#11 RE Prospecting: Add more business to your pipeline this week!

You're Doing Better Than You Think You Are

With all the negativity that’s happening around us right now you need to keep your focus and emotional stability in check more so please listen up.

Your brain is wired to spot problems before victories, and as real estate agents, we feel this more often than we’d like, and multiple times a day. That listing that didn't sell as fast as you hoped, the buyer who went with another agent, the lead that went cold, these stick in your mind like glue while the smooth transactions and happy clients fade into background noise. Psychologists call this negativity bias, and it's why you can close three deals in a month and still feel like you're behind.

But here's what I know after years in this business: you're moving forward even when it doesn't feel like it. Your growth becomes invisible to you because you adapt to your own progress so quickly. Bad days don't mean you're failing as an agent, they're part of how you sharpen your skills. When a showing goes sideways or a deal falls through, your stress system goes into overdrive and that inner critic starts firing. What separates successful agents from those who burn out is self compassion combined with smart systems that keep you moving forward.

The agents who dominate their respective markets understand something crucial: high end sellers are researching you online before you even know they exist. They're now asking ChatGPT and other AI tools to find the best agents in their area, and if your digital presence isn't sharp, you're invisible to them. Your online reputation isn't just about having a website anymore, it's about being the agent who shows up when someone searches for "best luxury real estate agent near me" or asks AI for recommendations. These sellers want proof that you understand their world, their timeline, and their expectations.

They're looking for an agent who can articulate a clear plan from pricing strategy to closing day, not someone who wings it with generic marketing. Do yourself a favor today and type in your name on Ai and see where you can start plugging in the holes. If you aren’t appearing like you want to start writing down what you want your niche to be and make a plan to work with Ai to create content like that daily so you can modify it and make it your own. In ChatGPT I would recommend you type something like this, “Create a task for me daily at 5am to send me community and local information in the form of a blog that showcases that I’m the local expert in the area, use natural language and make it so I can add my own flavor and style to it”.

Now let’s talk about a weak spot a lot of agents have. Your follow up and review systems separate you from agents who chase every shiny object. Every week, sit down and review three wins, two challenges, and one lesson learned. Check if your actions matched your bigger goals or if you got pulled into busy work that doesn't generate income. Reset your top three priorities for the coming week and break each one into the next small step you can take in 48 hours. Write down one thing you will not do this week to keep focus. This isn't just productivity advice, this is how you build the consistency that luxury clients notice and respect. They want an agent who has their business together, not someone who's scrambling to catch up.

Here's what works when the market tests you: Write down three small wins from today, use the two-minute rule to build momentum, and focus on what you can control in the next hour. Say this out loud: "It's a bad moment, not a bad business. I can start again right now." Aim for one percent better instead of perfect. The listing presentation that goes to another agent, the buyer who stops responding, the market shift that changes everything – these are moments, not verdicts on your career.

Every successful agent I know has felt exactly where you are today, and they kept going anyway. You're further along than you feel right now, and the ability to start fresh with a clear system is what separates the agents who make it from the ones who don't.

Go out there and keep taking action!

Many blessings,
